Knowing that DVD is replacing VHS, we are now seeing an increase in videos moving to Blue-ray format. Blu-ray is the new generation of DVD format which provides the viewer with high definition video. This format uses a blue rather than a red laser to read the disc allowing a more precise readability which in turn increases the amount of data that can be stored on the disc. As more and more videos move to this format, Baker & Taylor will be there to offer you title availability.

To search for title availability in a Blu-ray format, use search criteria of Attributes or apply the Physical Format Hi-Def & Blu-ray DVD. Otherwise Blu-ray Hi-Def DVD wording is identified under the title with in the LINK Online or Title Source Databases.
